LIVE & ACOUSTIC - GHOST PARADE “DRUGS WITH STRANGERS ON LOVERS” FEAT. JOHNNY O’HAGAN OF IDLEHANDS

Gazing like zombies far along your rails.

Weaving in and out of blur and clarity, we take to your celebrity.

Let the mask slip. Take the long trip.

Drifting with our senses sharpened; lovers in darkness.

In all out blaze, we burn ever slowly.

Be on some long long lines that loosen our taste and touch.

Gripping each moment tight, we keep our shit well doped up.

Drifting faceless, raging with all our senses sharpened; lovers in darkness.

In all out blaze, we burn ever slowly.

We keep laying years over and turn up the numbing weather.

Blissfully bent shoulders. We are drawn and quartered.

Blazing with all our senses sharpened; lovers in darkness.

In all out blaze, we burn ever slowly.

Were randomly drifting.

O blaze, keep us rolling.

We Are The Eggmen (Seriously)

What I’m about to write may upset some people. In fact, I think at the very least, I may make someone miffed. So be it.

Being a musician, I think about music all the time. Being in a band as a musician, I also ponder on bands, the music industry, and every nook and cranny in between that…

Thank you Bottom Of The Hill and everybody that made it out to support us. Can’t wait to do it again and see all of you back out there in the crowd!!!!

we snuck onto the roof to enjoy the view…

consolidate reach and bring it closer; one number, one color.
our lesson in distance, taken over; a rift between brothers.
with our world in palm, we are fast and real.

give thanks before your tounge, and press yourself away.
you’re useless with no thumbs, and your word lost its face.
what could our dream inspire?
we are fast and real. i dream, build and stack your image on mine.

We are headlining The Bottom Of The Hill on September 26th!

Here is a video of an un-recorded song of ours titled “There Are Spies”. It’s from our May 15th show at The Bottom Of The Hill.

So, we played this show a few weeks ago and it was really great.  We didn’t post the flyer up here on our tumblr for some reason, but it’s so cool I figured we should post it now anyway.  Our good friend Nate Warner made it, and he was one of the main reasons this show was so much fun; the other being Idlehands and Via Coma…
Let me just say that those two bands are going places.  Great music and great people. What a powerful combination!  This was the best lineup we’ve ever played in!  It was just solid straight across the board. It was also really nice to see some familiar faces as well, since the show before this was up in Sacramento.
On top of that, our friend Nate Warner came and displayed some of his amazing artwork, which just added to the fun of the evening.
All in all, it was a really great night and we look forward to seeing you guys again soon.  We have another SF show booked in September and we’ll be announcing it here soon.  We’ll be sure to post the flyer and other info on here from now on, we are still getting used to this whole Tumblr-thing.

Our first show.

Come and hang out with us for an evening!!!

Today is amazing.
Despite all of us being hungover…

We had taken about 3 weeks off from practicing full band after getting out of the studio. We were really excited to get back into our studio yesterday and rock out or hours on end.

It’s not much of a surprise that after rehearsing we stopped by our favorite local bar The Gold Dust, with our favorite cocktail waitress Katie, for a few drinks. We all decided to stay the night at our studio, and this morning could not have been a better morning. The weather is beautiful, and not only did I not get a parking ticket like I should have, we also went to The
St. Francis for breakfast. It was good and bad. Good because it was delicious, bad because we ate so much of that deliciousness we almost exploded. Not complaining though.

We have our first show May 15th at The Bottom of the Hill in SF. We’ll be playing with some pretty entertaining bands, so be sure to make it out if you’re in the area that night.

Have a great weekend :)

Free Music Friday!

Hey guys, today is great because it’s Friday and we have the entire weekend to look forward to. And also because on Friday’s people get free music… Right?

Follow this link ( http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?p=105559522 ) and download our first single “Low” for free, because we love you and we want you to have it…

Because it’s Friday.

And because you should have free music.

And because you should take your clothes off and listen to our music.

Because you just should.

Period.

We would like to thank Danny Camarena for flying up from LA to record bass for us. Danny was our bassist for a while in the beginning of Ghost Parade and actually helped us write, “Low”, “The Altar. The Closer.” and “Architects”. He’s one of the most fun dudes to play with out there right now in our opinion and we were so happy to be able to work with him again. He is now back home is sunny Los Angeles. Check out his current project Channel(s) and give him some love.

Done recording for now :)

We just finished 6 beautiful days in the studio with our good (and super talented) friend Aaron Hellam over at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, Ca. Between a lot of Jack in the Box tacos and pizza and hanging out with Thomas Pridgen, and drinks at the Gold Dust Lounge and some hotel madness thanks to the beautiful Amber Muschetto, we managed to come out with 4 really great songs. We have posted two of those songs (“Low”, which is available for download, and “The Altar. The Closer.”) on our Facebook page, along with a live track (“Architects”) that we recorded over at Tiny Telephone Studios in SF last May, engineered by the amazing Scott McDowell… We are really excited that these songs are finished and we are enjoying the positive response they’ve received so far by our friends and family and the small group of people that consider themselves fans :) We’ll be making music videos for the other two tracks that aren’t posted yet, titled “The Grand Dame” and “3”, and we’ll be releasing them with the videos as soon as possible. We plan on heading into the studio again this summer to record two more songs titled, “There Are Spies” and “Numidian”, to complete the EP which will be titled, “Foundation”, before pressing it and officially releasing it. Until then we’ll have a few songs up to listen to, and for download for all of you who can’t wait and need to at least, “dip a toe”, so to speak ;) There are so many good bands out there that we are really excited to play with. We are beyond amped to get out there and start playing live and seeing you all out there as well. Enjoy the music. Know the lyrics. These songs have a lot behind them as far as meaning, and we really take pride in what we write about. It means a lot to us, and we hope we can reach at least a few of you out there as well and have the songs effect you the same way they effect us. Keep checking in as this is the beginning to something really fun and great, and we look forward to sharing it with our home in the bay, and with the rest of you out there too!!! www.Facebook.com/GhostParade

It has been decided that our first show will be in our home by the bay. We’ll be releasing the show date very soon. There are so many of you that have been bugging us to play live and to get this recording done… Well the recording is done and now the live shows will begin!!!
We can’t wait to see everybody out there.
